SCRAP'N STAMP WHITTLE THINGS BLOG HOP

Hey Everyone!! It's the first Friday of the month and that means it's time to hop along with the team at Scrap'n Stamp Canada. This month we are featuring the Whittles products from Poppystamps. They are soooo cute!!!
There will be a prize of a $50 Gift Certificate to one lucky person that leaves a comment. To increase your chances leave comments at all the stops along the hop. You may see our cards from the hop on Instagram or facebook -  if you do, be sure to leave comments there as well to increase your chance of winning that $50 Gift Certificate.

Want to get your hands on some of these cute Whittles? If you shop this weekend you'll receive 20% off ALL Poppystamps products in the shop.

I have a few cards to share with you so let's get started.

This first one is soooo clean and simple.

I used the Whittle Shark Die and the Whittle Sealife Sentiments Stamp Set. I used the Lawn Fawn small Stitched rectangle Dies to cut the frame and the panel. The frame is popped up with some craft foam and the panel is adhered directly to the card base. I blended some Hickory Smoke Distress ink onto some white card stock then cut the shark out and added it with some more craft foam.
While writing up this post I decided to add another sentiment to the card. I like it much better with the added sentiment.

My next two are little 3x3" cards. I never make this size but thought it worked well with the Whittle dies.

I used a Tim Holtz Waves embossing folder for the first layer. I think it's an older one as I couldn't fine it online anywhere but there's a ton of others on the marker. On one of the cards I added it face up and the other face down. I adhered it directly to the card base on the dolphin card and used craft foam for the other one.

I used Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks to create the water panel before die cutting with the the Whittle Wave Background Die. I adhered that to the card with some craft foam. I blended some Hickory Smoke distress ink onto a piece of white card stock then cut out the Whittle Dolphin. I used the Word Balloons and the Whittle Sealife Sentiments to finish the card.

I used the Whittle Fish Trio and the Whittle Sealife Sentiments for this little card.

Okay, this next one is my last card.
I paired some Whittles products with some Heffy Dooddle products and came up this.

I used the Heffy Doodle Wave to Me Stencil for the bottom layer. The lighthouse is from Heffy Doodles Lil Lighthouse Stamps and Dies and colored with some distress inks and a grey Prismacolor pencil.

I used the Whittle Wave Background Die, Whittle Fish Trio Die and the Word Balloons for the rest of the card.

Besides the fact that these products are adorable - that dolphin may be my favorite - they have a great price point! You could add a lot to your stash without spending a lot. That to me is a win-win when you're on a budget.

Next up on the hop is Deborah - be sure to check her blog but before you go leave me a comment for a chance to win the $50 Gift Certificate I was talking about at the beginning of the post.

Here is the whole list for you in case you missed any.
