A LITTLE NOTE TO SAY...

I've recently started leaving images uncolored and I love it. At first it was a little difficult to do - the urge to 'finish' the card was strong but I fought through it and now I love doing it.

Because I left the flower and leaves uncolored I needed to add color in another way. I opted to do some ink smooshing which is one of my favorite things to do with ink and paper.
I used the Through the Prism Stamp Set from Catherine Pooler Designs. I stamped and embossed it in white on water color paper. After I heat set it I swiped on some Catherine Pooler ink in rainbow order, gave it a little spritz of water and dried it. Once it was dry I added more ink and did it again.

After it dried I die cut a tag - the ones I used are not available but I linked to another set that are retiring soon and on sale.
I added the tag with some craft foam to a card stock panel cut with the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Die Set and added that to a card base with more craft foam.
I added some b&w twine, an embossed sentiment and of course the uncolored flower and leaves.

Have you seen this huge sale happening at CAS-ual Fridays right now?
This is while supplies last so if there's something you have your eye on - grab it while you can. The Pretty Posies stamps and dies are 35% off right now!

 Happy Stampin'
