CATHERINE POOLER DESIGNS APRIL SHOWERS

We've had such beautiful weather here lately but we're supposed to get rain this afternoon so I thought this card was perfect to share with you today. I've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and getting some hiking in and haven't been spending much time in my craft room or blogging. I've also been learning a new filming and editing system so I can start making videos again. I've got one to share with you soon and then I hope am going to be more consistent with them.

Alright, lets talk about this card.

I am in love with this bear from the Puddle Play stamp set - that tiny umbrella he's carrying makes me giggle.

I colored him in using a blender pen and cut him out with the coordinating die.  I die cut a few clouds, added them to a white piece of card stock then cut it with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set. Before adhering the clouds I did stamp some rain. I layered the panel onto another piece of white card stock that I blended on some ink for a blue background and then layered that onto a white card base. The bear is popped up with some craft foam and of course I had to add a puddle. I stamped the sentiment then cut it up, layered it onto some black card stock and placed it around the panel.

I love this sentiment and right now I need to remember that.
There's always something to be thankful for.

Happy Stampin'

and thanks SO MUCH for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!

Susan
