A YELLOW AND GREY ONE LAYER CARD

I was making this card for a Color Hues Challenge but I'm a little late getting it ready. I still wanted to share it with you because I had fun making it. The challenge was to make a card using yellow and grey - I love those two colors together and I don't use them enough so I thought it would be a fun challenge. Plus I decided to make a one layer card as I find them more difficult to do and want to do more so I can get better at them.

I also made a video to go along with this post. First one in 7 months! I finally got a much needed new laptop and have spent the last few days learning some new programs for filming, editing and doing voice overs. I still need to figure some things out - for instance I couldn't get music to play where I wanted it to. Maybe in my next video I'll have it figured out.

My struggle with one layer cards is adding depth to them. I know that's not always necessary but I love to use craft foam on my cards for dimension and would love to be able to create dimension on OLC's too. I love the clean and simple look but sometimes I want a little more. I love how this card turned out but I do think there's room for improvement.

You can watch the video below to see how I made it or you can watch it over on my YouTube channel.
