EEK! IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY & A GIVEAWAY

I recently got the It's a Mice Time To Celebrate Stamp Set from My Favorite Things and it has quickly become a favorite for birthday cards. There is a coordinating die for it but I haven't got that - yet lol. I decided to combine it with the My Favorite Things Basic Shapes Circle Stencil and make a festive birthday card.
How would you like a chance to win this stamp set and stencil? Leave me a comment here, and/or on the Scrap'n Stamp Blog telling me what your favorite decoration is for a party for a chance to win.
A winner will be chosen on March 31st - Good Luck!!
Every one on the team will be giving away a prize so be sure to check the Scrap'n Stamp blog regularly for more chances to win a prize.

I started by masking off the circles so I could ink up one at a time. I layered it onto some white card stock, inked it up with some embossing ink, removed the stencil then poured on some embossing powder and heat set it. I repeated this process a few more times with different circles and two embossing powders - (red & purple). Next I used two Distress Oxide inks - (orange and green) and repeated the process with the stencil and a couple of sponge daubers to add some more color.

I ran the panel through my die-cutting machine with a stitched rectangle die, added some craft foam to the back then added it to a white card base. I added the outer edge piece directly to the card base.

I stamped the image onto some white card stock, colored it in with some Prismacolor Pencils then cut it with a circle die cut. I adhered that to the panel cutting the edge, with a black circle piece tucked under it. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink onto black card stock and heat set it with white embossing powder.

Happy Stampin'

and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!

Susan

The mouse is so cute!! I love the colors you chose, too. They are so bold. My favorite decoration would have to be a themed banner. I made unicorn decorations for my little 3 year old granddaughter recently, and she loved it!!! The banner was especially cute. My husband even helped to make it.

Came back to see this background again and must have gotten so interested in it that cool background I must have forgotten to comment, tee hee. I really love the dimension you achieved with the masking and other colors! That little mouse face is so a.dor.a.ble, he loves that gift. Very mice card. Tee hee. If cake isn't a decoration, must be hungry, the balloons are my fav! Thanks!
