I don't tend to make and send Easter cards but this year might be an exception. First reason of course would be Covid and not being able to be with family and the second reason would be that the Catherine Pooler Designs new Spring into Easter Stamp set and coordinating dies is just so cute that I have to make some.
I remember getting a chocolate egg every Easter that had our names on them. I always thought that was so cool. When our girls were little we always hid eggs for them around the house to find and one chocolate bunny each. There was usually a book for them each year as well. I think I had just as much fun hiding them as they did looking for them.
This card is pretty simple to make. I die cut a panel from white card stock using the Postage Stamp Dies then stamped the images onto another piece of card stock. I did pull out my copics to color the bunny. I'm trying to use them more - they're an item that don't get a lot of love in my craft room and I'm trying to change that. I used a couple shades of browns, beige and pinks to color it in then cut it out with the coordinating die.
I used a blender pen to color in the eggs then cut them out with the coordinating die.
I stamped the sentiment with Midnight ink then with a blending brush and some Cummerbund ink I added a little color to the background. I adhered the images to the panel then adhered that to the card base.
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
Stay safe everyone!!
