BEAUTIFUL DAY FLORAL

 

I made this card for a PenPal swap at StampNation. Once a month there's an inspiration picture posted to inspire us. Everyone who signs up is assigned a person and no one knows who has their name until they receive their card in the mail. It's a lot of fun.

I used the Beautiful Day Floral Stamp Set & the coordinating dies along with the Adore Die and the Thoughtful Phrases Stamp Set and a few Prismacolor Pencils to make this card.

I die cut the Adore Die from white card stock then layered it onto a piece of black card stock. Next I layered that onto another piece of white card stock then adhered that to a white card base. 

The floral image from the Beautiful Day Floral Stamp Set is properly named - it's beautiful. I stamped it with Black Jack ink using the MISTI. I left the image in the MISTI so once I finished coloring it I could place it back in the MISTI to stamp it again to crisp up the lines that get blurred from coloring. I cut it out with the coordinating die then adhered it to the card. 

There's a lot going on with this card so I kept the sentiment very simple.
