Hi Friends! I hope you're having a good day. I wanted to let you know that Catherine Pooler Designs has some new goodies hitting the shop on Wednesday January 13th at 9am EST.

One of the new goodies is NEW INK!!! The ink bundle is called Date Night and I'm so excited about this because she really does make one of the best inks on the market.
She also has a mini release called Love-N-Hearts that's perfect for Valentine's Day next month. I don't have anything to show made with the Love-N-Hearts products since those are still making their way to me in the mail BUT I do have the inks!
Just look at all this gorgeousness! And check out the names - so cute and fun.
I used the Faitfhful Fluttering Butterflies because I wanted to layer up the inks and the butterflies each have 3 layers to their wings.
I used the new Cumberbund, In the Park, Catching Rays, Do-Si-Do on this slimline card. The yellow butterfly is stamped with Catching Rays, Tiara, Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti for the body. The pink butterfly is stamped with Do-Si-Do, Coral Cabana, Samba and Cranberry Fizz for the body. The blue butterfly is stamped with Cumberbund, Mint to Be, Aquatini and Deck the Halls for the body.
The ink blending inside the circle openings is done with In the Park ink.
I love how they turned out.
I used the Post This Slimline Die set to make all the layers for the card. This is a great set to have in your stash because besides using them all together they would also work great individually which makes it more versatile.
I adhered a sheet of acetate to the back of the piece with the cut out circles. Next I added some craft foam being sure to add it between each circle so when I added the Soda Springs sequins they wouldn't all fall to the bottom of the card. I used the Marching Leaves Stencil and some In The Park ink to add a subtle background and then layered it all together.
The hello is from the Ways To say Hey Dies and cut from black card stock. A few more sequins on top and this card is done.
