HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I didn't send out as many Christmas cards this year so I'm sending out some New Year's cards too. 

This card was easy to make so if you're looking to send out some New Year's cards this may be what you're looking for.

I used the Sparkle and Pop Stamp set along with some Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Powder to make the panel. After I heat set it I cut the panel with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die set. 

I added it to a kraft card base with some craft foam and then embossed the sentiment from the Cocktail Party Stamp Set with white embossing powder on black card stock. 

The color combo isn't typically used for holiday cards but I love how this turned out. It's got a classy look to it - kind of like dressing up for a fancy night out or in as was the case this New Years.

Now to get this card in the mail.
