Merry Christmas

I recently found some wooden letters, numbers and cute little images at the dollar store and couldn't wait to play with them. I started with seeing which words would fit on a standard sized card and decided on Merry.

I used the Fun Forest stamps and dies for the trees. I used Spruce ink for the tree trunks and branches and I did second generation stamping with Sage ink for the leaf areas.
I cut a couple pieces of white card stock to make the snow and layered them onto a dark gray card base. Next I adhered the wooden letters and then the trees. I finished the card off with an embossed Christmas on black card stock and using a white paint pen I added 'snow' to the sky.

I'm really happy with how this card turned out and it was fun to make too. I've got some other ideas now for more cards with wooden letters. Time to play in my craft room :)

Happy Stampin'

and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
