MISS YOU

Hi Friends! It's been a crazy year to say the least. Covid-19 has changed the world in so many ways and it's scary. One of the struggles for people is the loss of contact with family and friends. People have had to find ways to keep their spirits up and one of the ways for many people has been crafting.

This card was inspired by something someone said in a Zoom crafting session yesterday on StampNation. There was mention of an envelope stamp and instantly the idea for this card popped in my head. 

I used the 3 envelopes in the YAY Gifts! Stamp Set and stamped them repeatedly on a piece of white card stock. I used a red felt pen to fill in the hearts. I cut it down with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies. The sentiment is from the Bon Voyage Stamp set and it's embossed in white on black card stock. 

I noticed some scrap card stock on my desk that would work layered under the stamped image so I used it. I layered everything on a white card base. I added some shading around each envelope with a grey marker.
