CELEBRATING WORLD CARDMAKING DAY

I had so much fun this weekend celebrating World Card Making Day with all the people at StampNation. So many fun tutorials that I have ideas in my head for days.

A couple of things sparked the idea for this card.

One of the challenges of a past WCMD was a picture of the sky filled with hot air balloons. Those balloons were my first inspiration. Ally, one of Catherine Pooler's Brand Ambassadors was sharing how she stores her sponge daubers and when I was setting up my storage I noticed that all the colors that I was daubing made me think of the balloons in the sky.

After I added all the dots/balloons to a piece of white card stock I die cut it with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies. I added that piece to a white card base with craft foam for dimension. Next I die cut the Celebrate Die from black card stock and craft foam and then added it to the balloons.
To finish it off I stamped the candle and added it to the L and then added some sparkle to each letter with a sparkle pen.

Happy Stampin'

and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
