I hope you are all doing well and if you have kids I hope you’re surviving as best you can whatever ‘back to school‘ looks like for you.
I am writing this post on my phone while my hubby and I are camping and it’s acting all ‘glitchy’ (or maybe it’s me lol) I’m not able to preview this so I hope this looks okay for you all to read.
It’s been really hot ( as high as 37C in some places) but some of the places we hiked up to you could see that Fall is wanting to start. I love Fall so I’m okay with that but my hubby would prefer a longer summer. Okay, enough about us let’s talk about my card.
I love this sentiment, I love Fall and Fall colors and I love grey and white so this card came together really easy.
I started by stamping a bunch of leaves. I would ink it up in the lighter shade and then using a sponge dauber I would a darker shade around the edges and then stamp. I cut out all the ones I liked with the coordinating dies. I stamped one directly onto the card base and then adhered all the others with some Bearly Arts Glue. Next I stamped the sentiment. I was going to stamp a border underneath it all when I spotted an old unused piece that didn’t make it onto another card. It’s made with the Friendship Border Die and some paper-piecing of grey card stock into the little holes. I adhered that to the card and added a little ladybug from the same set and called it done.
