WILD ABOUT YOU

I'm going to be honest with you. When I first saw the Born To Be Wild Stamp Set it didn't spark any interest in me BUT then I saw some cards made with it and I had to have it! I ordered it as soon as I could and it arrived the other day. I played with it last night and I'm so glad I ordered it. Those monkeys have my heart!

I grew up close to a zoo and whenever we went the first place I went to was to see the monkeys. I could watch them all day. I used to dream about having a monkey as a pet one day. 

And check out that Safari Patterned Paper! All those pretty colors and patterns...so many card possibilities!

I used the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies and one of the Stitched Square Dies together to make the top layer. I sponged some Sand Castle ink around all the edges and then added some adhesive strips to the back. I added a piece of the striped patterned paper behind the opening and then added that to some kraft colored card stock that I had also sponged the edges of. I layered all that onto a white card base.

I used Sand Castle and Melon Ice inks for the bodies of the animals and then Icing on the Cake for the details. Those monkeys seriously make me smile.

The sentiment is stamped with embossing ink then heat set with white embossing powder.

Time to go play some more.
