TIME FOR A SUMMER SHAKE-UP AT SCRAP'N STAMP CANADA

Image may contain: text that says 'SCRAP 'N STAMP Join us Ang 7 for SHAKE UP SUMMER! a blog hop HOP ALONG WIN PRIZES BE INSPIRED'

Hi there Friends! I hope you're all having a good summer. I just spent the last few days celebrating my birthday with my family. My daughter and her boyfriend both came for a few days and my other daughter came for a couple of days as well. My husband and I always thoroughly enjoy their visits and are sad when they leave. But while they're here we have so much fun and yes it did include some wine.

The hop this month at Scrap'n Stamp Canada features Tonic Studios Die & Shaker sets. This was my first time playing with them and it was a lot of fun. I had ideas for two cards but time enough for one so I combined them in to one card.

Because this is a hop you know there are prizes involved.

Scrap'n Stamp Canada is giving away THREE SHAKER GIFT PACKS - not one but three packs!

Also from now until midnight Sunday (Aug. 9th, 2020) there is

 20% OFF TONIC PRODUCTS.

I wanted to make one card with a shaker glass and one with a colored glass of wine. I decided to make a slim line card and combine the two glasses on to one card.

The die is two pieces. You can see the two pieces in the pic. The outer glass shape and the inner glass portion for the shaker. I cut two of the glasses from white card stock and on one of them I die cut out the glass portion. I used a fine tip black marker to draw lines on the solid glass piece so as to make it look more like a stamped piece. Next I grabbed my Prismacolor pencils and colored it in.

The set includes pouch bubbles (I'm drawing a blank as to what they are properly called) that adhere to the back of the glass. I filled them with a variety of sequins that I had in my stash and then added it to my card base.

I added the colored wine glass next but decided I didn't like the way it looked so I cut another wine glass, drew on the lines, added a little shading and then added that over top of the existing one.

A sentiment from Picket Fence Studios Sip Happens stamp set stamped in black and a few sequins scattered over the card finishes it off.

I really like how you continued the glitter outside of the shaker card. It ties the other glass in very well. Great card!
