HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAKER

I went in to my craft room yesterday and pulled out a couple of things that haven't seen much love lately and decided to just play.

I grabbed the Sum Sum Summertime Patterned Paper, the I Scream You Scream Stamps and coordinating dies, the Instant Happy Die and some sequins and set about to make a card.

I started by choosing which papers I'd use. My supply of this pack is getting low but the good thing about a pack is you know they all go together. I used the large rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Dies to cut a piece from the pink word paper. I adhered that to the card base on an angle.
Next I cut the Instant Happy Die frame from the polka dot paper and I cut 4 (maybe 5) from some white card stock to layer together. I would typically use craft foam to create dimension but I wanted the HAPPY to have layers under it so it wasn't floppy and the letters are too thin for craft foam. I die cut the word portions of the die from black card stock as well and using my Bearly Arts Glue with the fine tip I added them to the panel.
I layered all the white frames together and before adding the patterned frame on top I added a window sheet. I filled it with a mixture of sequins and then added the third patterned paper to the back.
I adhered the shaker piece to the card then added the ice cream sundaes that I colored using my Tombow Blender pen - great pen by the way - a few sequins and then I literally spent about 5 minutes shaking the card. Seriously, shakers are so much to play with no matter your age.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
