FIRST, ICE CREAM

The First Ice Cream stamp set from the August Club Canvo is soooo cute!! I haven't used it in my Canvo yet but I have made a couple of cards. This one uses the popsicle stamp and a lot of inks.

I stamped the images onto watercolor card stock with Midnight ink and then using a waterbrush I set about coloring them in. My first thought when I saw them was of an ice cream revel. They are chocolate coated ice cream and they are delicious! They were my favorite when I was a kid but I thought they'd look better in some bright and fun colors. After I colored them in I added a layer of sparkle using a clear sparkle pen from Spectrum Noir.

I die cut the birthday from the Instant Happy Dies 4 times and stacked them on top of each other for dimension. The Happy is from the Thoughtful Phrases stamp set. The stamp says Happy Anniversary so I covered up the Anniversary with a post it before inking it up. Just remember to remove the post it before stamping - I've made that mistake before. 

I layered them onto some black striped paper for contrast.
