Life has been crazy lately and busy. My husband and I bought a place a few months ago and have been renovating. We had hoped to finish the whole place before we move into it in next weekend but with the pandemic we've had a few delays. I'm not complaining but I will say doing a reno during a pandemic has its challenges. The main floor is pretty much done so we can move in and finish the rest of it later.
Because we've been so busy I haven't been stamping as much as I would like but I did manage a bit of time in my craft room Sunday evening and made this card. It really didn't take much time at all and I had so much fun.

I started by stamping the butterfly from the Wings of Joy stamp set with embossing ink and then heat setting some Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter. I tried catching the sparkle in the pictures but trust me when I say it's really pretty and sparkly.

I did some ink smooshing using Rose Petals and Sangria inks - I love how the pinks look with the gold. I layered it onto a piece of black card stock, embossed a sentiment onto a scrap piece of black with white embossing powder and then added it to a white card base with craft foam.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
