It's the first Friday of the month so that means it's time to hop with Scrap'n Stamp and this month we are playing with Perfect Pearls.
That means all weekend you can get 10% off Perfect Pearls and because it's a hop be sure to leave a comment at all the stops for a chance to win a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE to the shop.
This was my first time playing with Perfect Pearls and I was super excited. I've seen them in action a few times and was really impressed and couldn't wait to play with them. I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I wanted to paint with them.
I started by stamping the flowers and stems from MFT's Painted Poppies with versamark ink and heat set it with Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder from Ranger. Next I mixed a tiny bit (a little goes a LONG way) of Confetti White and Heirloom Gold (I forgot to put that one in the photo) with a little water and then with a paint brush I started painting. I used the Heirloom Gold for the stems and leaves and the Confetti White for the flowers. I love how the flowers have a touch of blue in it. After it dried I flicked a little bit of the Heirloom Gold 'paint' over top.
I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and plan on adding more Perfect Pearls to my collection.
I cut down the panel and after stamping the sentiment from MFT's Beautiful Blessings 2 with Versafine Nocturne ink I added the panel with some craft foam.
I had a little peak at the rest of the teams cards the other day and I can't wait to hop along with everyone and see the full cards.
Next on the hop is the talented Laurie but
don't forget to leave me a comment because you never know - you might be the winner of the $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE.
