I haven't had as much time as I'd like to stamp recently but that's about to change. I retired yesterday WOOHOO!! and we are officially moved into our new place. We still have work to do - unpacking and organizing and still have more renos to do but it's so nice to wake up here today and not have to go to work.
I headed down to what's going to be my craft room/exercise room and started stamping. Because it's grad weekend here I made a grad card.
I started with the Sunburst Stencil and using a blending tool I added some Limoncello ink out to the edges. Next I stamped the banner strings from the Build-a-Bunting Stamp Set and then using the Build-a-Bunting dies I cut out some banner pieces using one of the papers from the Poppin' Patterned Paper. I added all the pieces to the strings with some liquid glue.
Next I cut the frame from the Chalkboard Frame Dies set from white card stock and dragged the Black Jack ink over top to make a grey frame. The dog is from the Peeking Pets Stamp Set, cut out with the Peeking Pets Dies and colored in using a blender pen with Sand Castle and Over Coffee ink. The grad cap is from the Peeking Pets Stamp Set and those super cute glasses are cut from black card stock using the Pet Specs Dies. I LOVE THOSE!!
I added a few of the star sequins that are in the Soda Springs Sequin Mix and the sentiment is from the Yay Gifts Stamp Set. I used some adhesive strips to add the frame, layered it onto some black card stock and then added it to a white card base.
