PLAYING WITH THE FLUTTERS & BLOOMS PAPER

I was up early today with an idea or a card. The first time I saw the Flutters & Blooms Patterned Paper I thought of making a baby card. I know the patterns aren't baby themed but for some reason it's what I was thinking. The small tag from the Layered Tags Dies Set worked perfectly with my idea.

I pulled out the paper and tried to decide on 3 patterns to use but I couldn't so I used 5 patterns. I don't think I've ever used that many patterns before but when you have a paper pack you can choose with confidence that all the patterns will work together.

I cut three tags and used two more for the bottom panel. Using craft foam I adhered the tags to a panel cut with the large stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Dies - I use this set a LOT! - using craft foam and adhered that to the card base with more craft foam.
Before adding the tags I stamped the sentiment with my MISTI to be sure I got good coverage - but Catherine's inks are fantastic and it stamped perfectly the first time.
I stamped out the rest of the sentiment, some flowers and leaves and adhered them to the tags. I finished the card with a few of the Mission Sequins.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
