A RAINBOW OF THANKS

These cards were so much fun to make!
First I want to say I used a die (the Concentric Circles Die) that I can no longer link to - Sorry about that. But you can take this idea and use it with other dies in your stash or if you have this one then yay!
I started with a piece of card stock that was 4" x 5 1/4" and some double sided adhesive. You can use whatever size adhesive you like. I added a strip of adhesive along the bottom, peeled off the protective piece and then added embossing powder. I heat set the color making sure my heat gun was warmed up and ready to go before I used it. I repeated this process leaving a tiny space between each row until I had covered the panel with a rainbow of embossed stripes.

After die cutting it and adhering the piece you see in the card above to a panel that I had cut with a stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Dies I had all the little pieces left and I didn't want to throw them away so I made some tea and set about making the card you see below. I ran the die through my die cutting machine again but this time I used plain card stock. I used some temporary tape to hold the main piece in place on the white panel and then using liquid glue I glued in each of the rainbow pieces. I removed the tape and the main piece and I was left with what you see below.

I love how these cards turned out - it did take a fair amount of time but I think it was worth it.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

Stay safe everyone!!
