I can honestly say that the Flower Burst Cover Plate and the Wings of Joy stamps & dies are my favorite products to play with from the Flutters & Blooms Collection. Don't get me wrong - ALL the products are amazing and the things I'm seeing the design team make with the other products are truly awesome but there's something about these ones have my heart.
My card today is super easy. First I used the Flower Burst Cover Plate to cut what was originally going to be a stencil. I laid it over a piece of white card stock and blended Pink Champagne ink over the whole piece. But when I went to lift it off it shifted just a bit and I loved how that looked so I grabbed some liquid adhesive and adhered it to the panel I had just inked shifting it ever so slightly so as to see some white.
I stamped the butterfly onto some vellum and heat set it with Wanderlust embossing powder. I adhered it to the panel using some liquid adhesive on the body section. To hide the glue I covered the body with some of the Mission Sequins.
I did some direct to paper with Twilight ink, heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder, cut it into pieces and added it to the card.
I added the panel to some craft foam and then to a white card base.
