FLUTTERS & BLOOMS RELEASE DAY

Today's the day!
The Flutters & Blooms Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs is in the shop today at 9am EST. What's on your shopping list?

I have two cards today featuring the Beehive Background Background Stamp.
Because the stamp is a background one I used my MISTI for both cards to ensure solid coverage.

I inked up the Beehive Background stamp with Lemongrass and Sauna ink using a blending tool to soften the edges where the two colors meet. I stamped the areas with the bees again with Black Jack ink onto another piece of card stock, cut them out and adhered them to the ink blended panel. I stamped the 'BE' adding an extra E and covered the die cut 'kind' with Black Jack ink. I cut the panel down and adhered it to another piece of card stock that I covered with Black Jack ink and then added that to a white card base with craft foam.

This next one is stamped with embossing ink and heat set with white embossing powder. I cut a few of the bees from one of the sheets of paper in the Flutters & Blooms Patterned Paper Pack and adhered them to the panel popping a couple of them up with craft foam. I did some more direct to paper with Twilight ink. I heat embossed the happy with white embossing powder and cut it out adding the same 'BEE' sentiment as the card above. I added it all to a white card base.

This is such a fun background stamp to play with. I've had so much fun playing with products from this collection - you'll definitely be seeing more cards soon.
