I'm 56 years old and sometimes I still wish on a star like I did when I was a child. And the way the world is right now I've been wishing on stars again.
I used the new Star Stencil from Catherine Pooler's Forever 13 Collection and some WOW embossing powder to make the background. I laid the stencil onto some water color card stock and pressed my embossing ink pad into the paper being sure to get into all the stars. I heat set it with some WOW white embossing powder and then did some ink smooshing. You all know I love this technique and do it often. I used Daydream, Skylight and Stone Blue inks, drying in between each application.
I ran it through my die cutting machine with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die set.
The sentiment is from the Starlights Stamp Set. The three smaller words are heat embossed with WOW white powder onto black card stock. The Star is stamped with Midnight ink onto white card stock and cut out with the coordinating die.
I added everything to a white card base with craft foam.
