We're shaking things up at the Powell house! Things have been really crazy this week but fingers crossed I'll be sharing some good news with you very soon.
Last night I had an idea for a shaker card that I HAD TO MAKE. I was watching a movie with my husband when the idea came to me and I got up and went to my craft room. He asked if I wanted him to wait for me to continue watching and I told him to go ahead without me. He gets it. He gets me.
Anywho - more about the shaker card.
I used products from the TOTALLY RAD BUNDLE which is part of the FOREVER 13 RELEASE that hit the shop earlier this week.
I used two patterns from the Totally Rad Patterned Paper Pack, cutting one in a circle and the other in a rectangle. I used the same circle die and the next one down in size to cut a ring for the top of the shaker. I inked that piece up with Tiki Torch and Be Mine inks - I couldn't decide on which one to use so I used them both. I cut a circle from a scrapbook page protector (it's what I had) to make the window for the shaker and adhered it to the circle ring piece. I poured some Paisley Park Sequins onto the patterned circle, added a foam adhesive strip to the back of the window and adhered that to the patterned circle.
The sentiment and the roller skate are from the Let the Good Times Roll stamp and die set. I used a blender pen to color in the roller skate and layered everything onto a card panel that I cut using the Postage Stamp Dies (I use this one a LOT) and then added it to a card base with some craft foam.
