SENDING A SMILE YOUR WAY

Yesterday I decided to pull out all my distress oxide inks and just play with them. I made a card that I shared over on the Scrap'n Stamp Canada Blog but when I was done I didn't want to stop playing. So I grabbed a stencil and some blending brushes and just started adding color to a card stock panel.

I was scrolling through instagram and stamping blogs and came across a fun challenge - #staycraftywithhero. Hero Arts is challenging us to stay crafty, stay connected and to bring positivity and kindness into the world. What an awesome challenge! And with the way things are in the world right now I thought this was a great idea.

Because this card makes me smile deciding on the sentiment was easy. I used a Smile Die from Catherine Pooler Designs and paired it with the Sending A Smile Stamp Set from MFT.

I'm pretty sure I won't be going to the post office to buy stamps any time soon but I know I can send this out through email and text to people in hopes that it brightens their day a bit.
I hope it has brightened your day and that you are encouraged to make a card and share it with someone. If you do, please share it on social media with #staycraftywithhero and also over on the Hero Arts Blog.

Stay safe everyone!

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!!
