SCRAP'N STAMP GALENTINE'S BLOG HOP

It's the first Friday of the month - do you know what that means?

It means the team at Scrap'n Stamp has another super fun hop for you!

This month the theme is Friendships and with Valentine's Day coming we decided to have a Galentine's Hop.

First things first.

Okay, now for my card.

I used the Sip Happens stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. I love the sentiments it has. I decided to keep the coloring on the card really simple so the red would pop more off the paper. I stamped the image in black ink onto a white panel cut to 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" and then colored the lips, nails, wine and the shirt in red Prismacolor pencils (#'s 924 and 937). The hearts and little dots are from a die that I don't think is available anymore - sorry. If you don't have a heart die or punch you could easily draw little hearts and color them in - don't worry if they're not perfect as the fact that they weren't all symmetrical would look cool.

I tore one edge of a strip of paper from My Favorite Things Black & White Stripes paper pack and added it to the panel. I layered it onto the same red card stock that I cut the hearts from. I added a strip of black card stock to the card base and then added the stamped panel.

The sentiment under the lady is from the Sip Happens stamp set.

I used my label maker to print out the Happy Galentine's Day. I layered it onto some black card stock and then added it to the card with craft foam.
