Have you made any Valentines cards yet?
I have a quick and easy card for you today that combines two challenges I saw on line. I did simple color, a little ink blending and some masking on this one layer card.
I started by stamping the heart because I wanted that to be in the front. I stamped it on some masking paper, cut it out and covered it up. Next I stamped the bear and removed the heart mask. I made a mask for the bear, covered up the image and then using a blending tool I lightly sponged on some blue ink for the sky.
I peeled off the masks to reveal a cute little bear holding a Valentine heart.
I colored in the image with some Prismacolor pencils. I added a line of color under the bear so that it looks like he's sitting on the ground instead of floating in the air.
A simple sentiment stamped in black ink and this card is complete.
