What's better than the Wanna Hug Stamp Set and the coordinating Wanna Hug Dies to make a card for someone who needs a hug?
I stamped the cacti with midnight ink, cut them out with the coordinating die and colored them in using a blender pen and some Seafoam ink. I inked up the stamp for the aloe plant by dragging it across the Seafoam ink pad just once and then stamping it and cutting it out with the coordinating die.
I stamped the pots with midnight ink. I didn't add any color to them because I wanted the plants to be the focus. I did stamp a couple little flowers using Sauna and Sugared Lavender ink and cut them out with the coordinating die.
I layered all the plants onto some card stock cut with the Canyon Mini Cover Plate Die and then layered that onto a piece of card stock cut with the rounded rectangle piece from the Merry Mini Cover Plate Die. I layered that onto a card base with craft foam as well as the plant and the pot in the middle.
I love all the white on this card paired with the b&w patterns and the textured background.
The very first gift my husband ever bought for me was a cactus plant 33 years ago. He knew I loved cacti - still do - that may be why I love this stamp set so much.
