HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS AT THE CARD CONCEPT

I love the colors, the buffalo plaid, the red truck, the wreaths in the window, the brick on the wall, the rocking chair, the texture...
It's safe to say that I love the inspiration photo for this weeks challenge at The Card Concept
I decided to use the plaid, the colors and the trees (although I chose to do mine white) as the inspiration for my clean but layered card (or at least that's what I'm calling it).
I stamped the Buffalo Plaid background stamp onto white card stock using black ink and layered that onto a piece of dark red card stock. I tied some twine around the top and added the panel to a gray card base using craft foam.
I die cut 5 trees using a tree die that's been in my stash forever from white card stock and added them to the buffalo plaid piece popping one of them up with craft foam.
The sentiment is stamped with black ink onto white card stock and layered onto a piece of the dark red card stock and then adhered to the card.
All in all, this was a super easy card to make.
Check out this inspiration photo - I'd love to have a front porch like that.

Now it's your turn!
You can check out what the rest of the team came up with HERE and then I look forward to seeing your card in the gallery.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
