The Retro Winter Release from Catherine Pooler Designs is great for all those winter birthdays. I used all 4 of the new inks and a few of the other goodies to make this BRRRR-DAY card.
I've said before that I LOVE the paper from this release. It's called Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper - unfortunately at the time of this post they are sold out but don't worry, they'll be getting more soon - I need to remind myself to order more. The pattern on the bottom of the panel and the mug are both from the pack. I would LOVE a mug exactly like the one on this card - I tend to collect mugs and would have a LOT more if I had more space for them.
And of course the 4 new ink colors: Sangria, Pink Champagne, Orange Peel and Hot Tub match the paper perfectly so I used them to stamp the snowflakes on the top but before I did that I stamped the cute sentiment in Sangria ink. I inked up a thin strip of card stock with Hot Tub ink and added that just below the sentiment. I cut the panel down using the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies and added the mug and whip cream with some craft foam.
I inked up the edges of a piece of white card stock cut slightly bigger than the panel with Sangria ink and layered the panel onto that and used craft foam to add it to the card base.
Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!

I do only use certain ones for tea and others for coffee. Love this retro paper you have used. Hugs Mrs A.
