It's my favorite time of year. Fall. Cooler weather, falling leaves, windy days, sweaters, chai lattes, pumpkin cookies. So when I saw this weeks theme for the challenge at The Card Concept I knew I was going to have fun with it.
I stamped some pumpkins from CP Designs Autumn Blessings Stamp Set with Mandarin Spice Ink onto water color paper. Before I stamped it I spritzed the inked stamp with some water to get a water color look. This set doesn't have a coordinating die so I just cut them out. Next I stamped some greenery and acorns from CP Designs Fluttering Friends Stamp Set onto water color paper using Midnight Ink and colored them in with some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I cut them out with the Fluttering Friends Dies.
I made the brick wall with a brick embossing folder and sponged on some Sand Castle, Over Coffee and Icing on the Cake inks.
I piled on the greenery and pumpkins in one corner and then added the sentiment. The 'You' is from CP's 2 You's Die Set and the Thinking Of is from her Amazing Floral Stamp Set and embossed with white onto Midnight card stock and everything is added to a white card base.
