RETRO WINTER RELEASE DAY!!

All the products that you've been eyeing up from Catherine Pooler Designs Winter Release is AVAILABLE NOW!!!

This has been such a fun release to play with. There's so many fun, cute retro images and papers in this release.

I've got two cards to share with you today that are all about snowflakes.
This first card uses the Snowflake Trio Dies, the Chillin' Snowflakes Stamp Set along with the recently released
Vintage Baubles Background Stamp which I think works perfectly with this release.

I started by stamping the Vintage Baubles Background Stamp with embossing ink and heat setting it with Misty Sky Embossing Powder. I cut it down with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Die Set and the blended on some Hot Tub and Sangria inks.
I die cut the Trio Snowflakes Dies and pressed them into the embossing ink pad then heat set two of them with Singing in the Rain Embossing Powder and the third one with Misty Sky Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment with Sangria ink onto white card stock and sponged the edges with a little Hot Tub and Sangria ink.
I added the background panel to the card base with craft foam. I adhered two of the snowflakes directly to the panel and the last snowflake and the sentiment are added with craft foam.
This would be great as a set of cards in a variety of colors.

My second card today features the Chillin' Snowflakes Stamp Set, the Winter Words Dies along with 3 of the 4 new inks - SangriaPink Champagne and Hot Tub.

I started by randomly stamping the snowflakes onto some white card stock and then die cutting it with the large stitched rectangle from the Postage Stamp Dies. I added that to a white card base with craft foam.
The sentiment is cut from white card stock and then pressed into the Sangria ink pad. I also die cut the words from craft foam and then adhered them together with liquid glue and then adhered it to a vellum piece cut with a circle die. To adhere this to the card I added some liquid glue on the back side of the vellum only where the sentiment is and then adhered that to the panel.

What's your favorite thing from this release?
It's hard to pick because every time I see something someone on the team has made I think that's my new favorite -
I love it all but I'm really enjoying the patterned paper which you can see HERE.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
