Look at this new color from Catherine Pooler Designs. I mean just look at it! It's sooooo pretty!! It's called Hot Tub and it's the 4th and final color to be revealed this week. All the colors will be hitting the stores on Oct. 30th.
The card I made today, well actually it's a gift card/money holder and it uses all 4 of the new colors: Sangria, Pink Champagne, Orange Peel and Hot Tub and they look FABULOUS together.
I used one of my favorite stamp sets: Tis The Season and created a gift card/money holder. It wasn't what I started out to make but it's what I ended up with. The panel is a piece of white card stock cut to 3" x 6 1/2". I stamped the poinsettia with Sangria, the center with Orange Peel, the greenery with Hot Tub and the sentiment with Pink Champagne.
The holder is a piece of Sand Dunes card stock cut to 6 3/4" x 9 1/4" and scored along the long side at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". Fold on the scored lines having the larger section on the left. Adhere the smaller section on the right on the top and bottom only leaving a pocket for money, a cheque or gift cards. I stamped the inside the same as the front.

I love how this turned out. It was a nice surprise to end up with a gift card holder instead of the card I started out to make.
