Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper

EVERYTHING in the Retro Winter Release is so stinking cute!! Have you ordered your goodies yet? Do you have a favorite product that just stole your heart? I'm really digging the Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper Pack - it's so perfectly retro and cute and the colors match the new inks perfectly. And some of the patterns are great for any time of year - not just winter.
Both my cards are Christmas themed but I'll be sharing more another day that aren't related to winter at all.

My first card features the following:
and one of my favorite Christmas sentiment stamp sets which you may already own
and the recently released

I stamped the ornaments and colored them in using a blender pen with the new ink colors then cut them out with the coordinating die. I cut a panel from white card stock using the outer layer of the merry Mini Cover plate. next I cut one of the fun patterns from the paper pack on an angle and positioned it where I wanted it to be on the panel then drew a light pencil line so I knew where to stamp the strings for the ornaments. I stamped those in Midnight ink then adhered the patterned paper to the panel and cut it to line up with the white card stock piece. Does that make sense? I cut a very thin strip of midnight card stock and adhered it to the angled edge of the patterned paper then adhered all the ornaments to their strings. I had some tiny metal brads from ??? and put them through the top of the ornament . Using craft foam I adhered the panel to a white card base.
The sentiment is from the Holiday Mix Stamp Set and stamped in Midnight ink.

This next card is SO EASY to make!
It features the following:
and my favorite holiday stamp set - again
and the ever so functional

I cut strips of different widths from all the different papers in the Feeling Chilly Patterned Paper Pack and glued them onto a piece of card stock. Next I grabbed 3 different size circle dies and cut out 3 'ornaments'. I cut two pieces of white card stock using the two larger stitched rectangle dies from the Postage Stamp Die Set. I adhered the largest one to the card base and then using craft foam I adhered the other one to the card base as well. I stamped the ornament bows, drew some lines to the top of the panel then added the ornaments - the larger one is adhered directly to the panel and the other two are adhered with craft foam. Next I stamped the sentiment with midnight ink.
Super easy!

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
