The Card Concept is BACK!

Hi Everyone! 

The Card Concept is back from summer break with our first challenge 

and as usual the inspiration photo is awesome!! 

Check it out!

Look at those butterflies - so pretty. I was inspired by the colors to make a clean and simple card. I used a Catherine Pooler Designs stamp set from a Stamp of Approval Collection called A Beautiful World which has some beautiful butterflies.

I used Peeled Paint, Broken China and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide inks to stamp the butterflies onto watercolor card stock that I ran through my die cutting machine using the large stitched rectangle die from the Postage Stamp Dies from Catherine Pooler Designs. I stamped the sentiment with versamark ink and heat set it with black embossing powder. I layered it onto some Midnight card stock and then adhered it to a Sand Dunes card base using craft foam for dimension.

I love the sentiment - such a beautiful message - it's part of the same stamp set as the butterflies.
