I made this for a StampNation card swap where the challenge was to use word dies. I don't know if there's a name for
this type of card but because I had fun making it I'm going to call it a Fun Fold card.
I started by cutting two pieces of card stock using the large die from the Nested Labels Dies and then
scoring a line 3/4" from the tip - see pen line in pic below.
Fold over at the score line and add adhesive to the back
Line up both die cut pieces and adhere them together.
For the front of the card I blended on Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt inks for the grass and
Fiesta Blue and Suede Shoes for the sky.
I stamped the flamingo from the Stand Tall Stamp Set and cut him out with the coordinating die. I used a blender pen to color the bird with Party Dress and Samba and the beak with Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti. I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Welcome Stamp Set with Midnight ink and paired it with the die cut Hey There from the Ways to Say Hey Dies.
I used the flamingo die to cut some craft foam to adhere it to the card. I cut the sentiment into two pieces and adhered that with liquid glue just above the stamped sentiment.
