Scrap'n Stamps Turnabout Hop with Concord & 9th

Welcome to another fun hop at Scrap'n Stamp where we are featuring
the Turnabout Stamps from Concord and 9th.

I used the Crafty Turnabout Stamp Set to make two cards today.

My first card uses the stamp the way it was intended, as a turnabout stamp.
When you get your stamp it comes with instructions so don't stress out about thinking you don't know how to use one. It's really easy!

I made one stamped panel using just black ink on each rotation and then I made another panel using different Distress Inks on each rotation. I die cut a circle out of the colored panel and with the next larger circle I cut a piece out of the black stamped panel as well as some black card stock. I inserted the black circle into the black stamped panel and then layered it onto a piece of black card stock. I lined up the colored stamped circle onto the black stamped panel and then added it to a card base with some craft foam.
The sentiment is stamped with versamark ink onto black card stock and then heat set with white embossing powder.

My second card uses just one of the images from the stamp.

I really love the paint brush so I did some stamp surgery and cut it away from the larger stamp. I can always add it back in when I want to use the stamp they way it was intended.
I stamped the handle in black and the brush part in different colors of ink and stamped it across a strip of white card stock.
I was going for a rainbow of color. I added it to some black card stock and then with some craft foam I added it to a card base that I added a piece of scrap patterned paper to.
I stamped the sentiment in black on white card stock and then pieced each one onto some black card stock. I added each piece with craft foam.
This card used a bunch of scraps that were sitting on my desk - I love when I can put them to good use.

And did I mention the prize?

I really like this turnabout stamp set & the way you used it with all of the black & white & then the dimension with the circle & the different soft colours inside. So creative! I'm glad I'm not the only person who sometimes does stamp surgery. Your paintbrushes card is my favourite of the two. Thanks for the imspiration!

Thanks so much Teri :) I'll admit that in the beginning I would cringe when someone would cut their stamps but now I don't give it a second thought.

I seem to prefer the turnabout stamps done with just one color; your card is a great example of an awesome background.
