Stamp Out Cancer Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the Scrap'n Stamp hop to Stamp Out Cancer. The team and some guest designers have gotten together to spread the word about how important it is to be a strong advocate for your health and when you know something is wrong keep pushing until you get answers. Your health is too important not to.
In lieu of prizes for this hop, Scrap'n Stamp will be donating 10% from all the sales made this weekend - June 8th and 9th - to Push For Your Tush Fundraising Walk for Colon Cancer Canada in honor of team member Nancy Barnett Elrick.

You can read more about Nancy's story HERE and if you would like to donate to the Push For Your Tush Fundraising Walk For Colon Cancer Canada you can do that HERE.

I printed a free cancer ribbon image from Joanne Fink from Zenspirations for my card onto some watercolor paper. I love the words inside the ribbon and the message it sends. I stamped a sentiment from Beautiful Blessings 2 from MFT. The written font is beautiful! I did some simple ink smooshing with some distress oxide inks - I think that's my favorite technique onto the panel and onto another piece of watercolor paper. I tore one edge and layered everything together adding a small strip of b&w patterned paper.

I love how quick and easy this card was to make but more importantly I love the message.

Be sure to check out all the hops to see how everyone was inspired.
