...FOR ICE SCREAM!
When I first saw the new release from Catherine Pooler Designs I couldn't make up my mind what I like the most. At first it was the sunflowers
then I thought 'oh but look at that ice cream truck!'

My card today features the ice cream and popsicles from the I Scream You Scream Stamp Set, the Sum Sum Summertime Patterned Paper along with the Funky Alphabet Stamp set.
I began by stamping out a bunch of the ice cream cones and popsicles and coloring them to match the ones on the patterned paper and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I had a strip of the diagonal striped paper leftover from another project and decided it would be a great way to break up the busyness of the other paper. Plus it worked out to be a great spot to stamp those letters from the Funky Alphabet set.
Also sitting on my desk left over from another card were a bunch of those little die cut circles. I adhered all the treats to them with some craft foam and while I was trying to figure out how I was going to place them on the card I decided to
use the large bubbled edge die from the Tags Etc Die set to add some fun to the papers edges. I used a black fine marker to draw the lines between the two patterns, added some black and white twine and then added that to a white panel cut the same size. Then I added that to a card base and this card is finished.
Now I don't know about you but I'm really craving some ice cream.
