Happy Graduation

I work in a high school so it's safe to say that I need a few grad cards every year
and the WOO HOO stamp set from Sunny Studios is a set that I
reach for - a lot!

I used the MISTI from My Sweet Petunia. MISTI stands for the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented and it is!
I cut a piece of white cardstock to 2 5/8 x 3 7/8" and placed it in the MISTI and repeatedly stamped the sentiment. Using the MISTI helps to get perfect placement every time.
These pics help to show it.
Use the grid lines on the paper to line up the stamp and pick the stamp up with the door.

Use the grid lines to measure how for up to move the paper for the next stamp.
Notice the two pencil arrows I drew. Keep moving the paper up and continue stamping until the paper is covered.

I stamped the cap and diploma and fussy cut them out - there are dies for this set but I don't happen to have them- yet - and did some simple coloring with some Prismacolor pencils. I used a tiny brad to add the hat to the stamped panel.
I adhered the stamped panel to a piece of black card stock and then adhered that piece with craft foam to the card base.

Now I need to make a few more.

I'm playing along with the challenge at Addicted to CAS where the theme is Graduation.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
