Storybook Fun Fold Card

I recently took part in my first ever video hop celebrating Catherine Pooler's latest
release called The Storybook Collection. I was asked if I would also share the details on my blog.

This is the project I shared. Looks like your standard greeting card right?

But when you open it this is the inside.
I seriously giggle every time I open it.

You can see how I made the card by watching the video here. Today I'm just
sharing pictures of the different pieces and their measurements.

The grey piece is 4 1/4"x11" and is the card base that will house all the other papers.

The Sand Dunes piece is 4"x10 3/4" and is the piece that the rest of the project adheres to and will adhere to the grey panel.

The patterned paper is not the same as what you see on the card above. I used up most of that pack. These papers are from another Catherine Pooler pack called Peacock & Paisleys Patterned Paper and I'll link to it below.

These next 2 pieces are what will make the 'fun fold' work.
The first piece in the picture will hold the 4 patterned pieces on the right in the pic above.
The second piece in the picture is the 'mechanical' piece.

This next picture shows the same pieces as above but folded on the score lines.

The next couple of pictures show the start of how the 3 1/2"x8" piece is folded.
I recommend watching the video to see how it's folded and put together. It's not easy to photograph but it's easy to do.

I hope this has been helpful.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
