Fiesta Time with The Card Concept #115

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to another fun challenge at The Card Concept. This weeks inspiration photo below had me seeing maracas, a lot of maracas which had me thinking fiesta which had me thinking tacos. I'll be honest with you, I think about tacos a lot. They're the perfect food in my opinion.

Since I don't have any maraca stamps I went with a Mexican theme and a lot of colorful circles. I used the second smallest die from the Stitched Circles Dies from Simon Says Stamp and the Taco Party Stamp Set also from Simon Says Stamp.
To make the circle panel I cut a piece of white card stock to 4" x 5 1/4" and placed the die in the bottom left corner and ran it through my die cutting machine. Next I placed it in the bottom right corner, eye-balling it to make sure it was level and then I did the middle one. I repeated the die-cutting in that order working my way up the panel.
I stamped the image onto white card stock using Catherine Pooler's Midnight ink. This is a great ink because it's permanent so it's safe to use with all kinds of coloring techniques. Today I used a blender pen and some Catherine Pooler inks to do some very simple coloring.
I did some ink smooshing with Aquatini, Orange Twist, Rouge, Lime Rickey, Something Borrowed and Lemongrass inks. I smoosh the ink pad onto a large stamping block, spritz it with water and then pounce a piece of water color card stock on it. Repeat with the next color being sure to dry really well before moving on as this will help to lessen the possibility of making mud with your inks.
I added the technique piece to the card base and then the die cut panel on top using LOTS of craft foam. I fussy cut the image and added him to the card with some more craft foam.
A quick little sentiment finished the card.
It's a fairly quick and easy card to make and I hope you are inspired to make a card for the challenge.
Now I'm craving tacos!
