Masculine Monday #84

I was up at 6am today - ugghhh - I don't start work until 11 but my hubby started his compressed work week today which meant we were up earlier than normal. Once he was gone I headed into my craft room to sip my tea and make this week's Masculine Monday card.

I've been playing with my stencils the last couple of days and was wondering about stenciling on black card stock so that's what I did. And I love it! I used the Split Chevron Stencil from Catherine Pooler and with my Life Changing Blender Brushes I started with some Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and then shifted the stencil slightly and added some white ink.  The Peeled Paint color is very subtle but it's there.
I stamped the keys onto some gray card stock but first I masked off the word home. I wanted this card to work for someone who either got a new home or a new car or just got their license.
I hooked the keys onto the die cut Celebrate Die that I cut from white card stock.

I matted it onto a piece of grey card stock and then added it to a white card base using some craft foam for dimension. I also wanted the keys to shine a little so I used a glimmer pen and gave them a bit of sparkle.

No it's time for me to get ready for work.
Have a great day!

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
