So far I've tried quite a few different weekly spreads in my Canvo from Catherine Pooler Designs. Some I've loved how they looked but I didn't find them user friendly. Some were very user friendly but kind of boring BUT I think I've hit on the layout that works for me.
That's one of the best things about the Canvo - you can change it up on every page and try new things until you find something that works. I may change this up again as things in my life change or I just want something different but for now this is my go to layout.
What I love about this spread is it has enough of the 'pretty' and lots of the 'practical'.
I used the Months and Doodads Stamp Set with Midnight, Sauna and Green Tea inks. I hand wrote the days of the week, added the dates with a Tombow Mint Marker, a little washi tape and some shading with a light gray Tombow Marker (N95)
I saw Nanette Tracy (I think) use some washi tape as part of a banner once and I loved how it looked so I gave it a try on my page. I drew the banner, added the words, some washi tape and some shading and I LOVE how it turned out. Thanks or the idea Nanette!!
I'll keep with this layout for now and just change out the washi tape and the ink colors.
My hope is that keeping my layout simple but still pretty that it will keep me more focused on my tasks and deadlines and stop me from being a last minute Suzie with all my commitments.
