I did some simple ink blending for this card with just two colors - Poppy Parade and Mango Melody. These are new colors to Stampin' Up and I gotta tell ya they are really pretty! They blend beautifully together.
I stamped the rooster in black ink and that was it for the panel.
I stamped the image that looks like things that grow in a marsh - sorry I don't know the proper name of it - in black on a card base of Olive Green cut to 4 1/4 x 11" and scored at 5 1/2". I layered a piece of white card stock onto some black card stock and adhered that directly to the card base. I adhered the rooster panel to some craft foam and the adhered that to the card base.
For the sentiment I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set (I use that one a lot!) with black ink and adhered it to a piece of black card stock cut just slightly bigger than the white. I added a little bit of the marsh stamp in black and then added that directly to the card.
I love how much detail there is on this card and yet it was really easy to make. This set will definitely see a lot of use in my craft room.
