More With The Welcome Home Release

Hi Everyone!

Did you get a chance to check out the blog hop yesterday?  If you missed it don't worry, you can start HERE and be sure to leave a comment at every stop for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to shop in Catherine's store

I've got a couple of super quick and easy cards for you to share with you today.

My first two cards are the same technique but use different stamp sets.
The first card features the Happy Place Stamp Set
and the second one features the Beautiful Ride Stamp Set and the Awesome & Wonderful Stamp Set.

I started by cutting a piece of masking paper to 41/4 x 5 1/2" and then die cut a circle out of that. I then placed the piece with the circle cut out of it onto the card front and then using Rockin' Red, Samba, Party Dress, Tiki Torch and Limoncello inks and a blending tool I created the sunset.
After peeling off the mask I stamped the images and the sentiments using Midnight ink.

My other card for today features the Beautiful Ride Stamp Set.

I kept this one pretty clean and simple as well. I started by stamping the bike and the sentiment with Midnight ink onto a piece of Sand Dunes card stock. I stamped it off the edge of the paper on purpose. I used some Rockin' Red and Peppermint Scrub inks with a blender pen to color in the bike. I used Twilight, Black Jack and Midnight inks to color in the rest of the bike and to add some shading underneath. The basket is colored with Icing on the Cake and Over Coffee inks. I don't have any white inks so I used a white paint pen to color in the dog.  I was going to do a one layer card but I felt it needed that little bit of a black frame to finish it.

There's a video hop today which you can check out HERE.

Happy Stampin'
and thanks so much for visiting!
