It's Blog Hop Day!
Catherine Pooler has a new release and it's chock full of amazing stamps and dies and hits her store on the 13th.
I loved playing with these products - before I'd finish one card I'd have an idea for another.
I have a few cards for you today so let's get started.
The first one features the following:
- Beautiful Ride Stamp Set
- Beautiful Ride Dies
- Strolling Borders Stamp Set
- Happy Place Stamp Set
I loved playing with these products - before I'd finish one card I'd have an idea for another.
I have a few cards for you today so let's get started.
The first one features the following:
- Beautiful Ride Stamp Set
- Beautiful Ride Dies
- Strolling Borders Stamp Set
- Happy Place Stamp Set
I combined some Peppermint Scrub and Icing on the Cake inks for the brick wall. One of my favorite things to do with Catherine's inks is to watercolor with them so that's what I did with the rest of the card. I used the coordinating dies to cut everything out and then I added them to the card panel with some craft foam.
My second card features the following:
- Happy Place Stamp Set
- Happy Place Dies
I made the background using the Twisted Sunburst Stencil and blending on Limoncello, Tiara, Tiki Torch and Sauna inks. I rotated the stencil slightly 3x and blended on more ink each time. I stamped the images with Midnight ink, colored them in with a blender pen, cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the card.
My next card features the following:
- Cottage Garden Background Stamp
- Awesome & Wonderful Stamp Set
I masked off a rectangle on a piece of Sand Dunes card stock and stamped the Cottage Garden Background stamp with versamark ink. I embossed it with gold embossing powder and colored it all in with some of the neutral inks. I used a thin black sharpie and outlined the edges, layered it on some Midnight cardstock and then onto a white card base. The Wonderful word die was perfect to finish off this card paired with the embossed 'perfectly' sentiment.
My last card features the following:
- Strolling Borders Stamp Set
- Awesome & Wonderful Stamp Set
This last card was really quick and easy. I blended Twilight, Black Jack and Midnight inks on one of the Strolling Borders Stamp set stamps and stamped it repeatedly across the card panel. I blended some Midnight ink around the top edges and stamped the sentiment in Midnight. A little bit of twine wrapped under the sentiment and then added to the card base with some craft foam.
Now it's time to hop!
Be sure to leave a comment at all the stops because Catherine is giving away a $25 Gift Certificate to her store. Winners will be announced on Catherine's blog on the evening of the 18th.
