Season's Greetings at The Card Concept

It's almost Christmas time and I've almost got all my cards made. That's really unusual for me. How are you all doing with yours?
We've got another aweome challenge for you this week at The Card Concept that is sure to inspire you. Check out the inspiration photo below.

My card was inspired by all the texture in that centerpiece. I was really drawn to the green but surprisingly enough I didn't put any into my card.

I used a fairly new prouct from Catherine Pooler designs for the background piece. It's called the Holly and Berries Coverplate and it's gorgeous! I ran some metallic paper through the big shot with the Tin Time Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up - it's gorgeous! And then I die cut the ornament from it. Next I layered it all onto a card panel adding a piece of craft foam between the Holly and Berries and the next layer.
I finished it off with a sentiment stamped in black ink.
It's really a very simple card - it may look like it took a lot of work but the dies did all the hard work for me.
